Marybeth joined the University of Cincinnati in 2017 as an Admission Officer for the College of Law. Her career spans nearly 30 years in higher education’s recruitment, retention, teaching, training, research, and relationship sectors. These areas include: enrollment management, financial aid, budget planning and management; student services, strategic leadership, planning and execution; project and operational management, and education research.
She has worked with a variety of colleges and universities, from small- and medium-sized private and public institutions to medium- and large-sized Ivy League universities. Her work experiences include positions with Stamats, LJK Investments, the National Research Center for College & University Admissions (NRCCUA), The College of Saint Rose, Sinclair College and Marian Court College. She began her student services career with positions at Dartmouth College and Harvard Medical School.
In addition, she has presented on the national level on topics including training, professional ethics, communication and search plan strategies, the use of research and data to drive decision making, issues facing higher education, campus visit programs and careers in admissions.
A graduate of The College of Saint Rose (NY) with a BS in Childhood Education and English, Marybeth also earned two master degrees—an MS in Strategic Leadership and a MPM in Project Management—both from the University of Mary (ND). She is also on the faculty at the University of Mary’s Gary Tharaldson School of Business and works as a pro-bono enrollment consultant for students and families throughout the nation.
