Crow's Nest, 3rd Fl.
Speaker: Chris Chapman, Rep. Steve Driehaus (former)
Federal student financial aid currently is among the hot topics on Capitol Hill. Congress is in the process of reauthorizing the Higher Education Act of 1965 (HEA), and considering making significant changes, including:
- Eliminating the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
- Eliminating work/study for graduate students; and
- Capping federal loans for graduate school.
What do these proposals mean for graduate education?
Cincinnati Law alumnus Chris Chapman ’93, CEO of AccessLex, former U.S. Representative Steve Driehaus, and Otto Katt from Lewis-Burke Asociates, LLC will answer those questions and more.
Coffee and dessert will be available.
